Welcome to SHIFT. By using the website or SHIFT Companion, purchasing our products, or using SHIFT materials, you agree to these terms and safety disclaimer.
TERMS & SAFETY DISCLAIMER
1. General Wellness Only
SHIFT Cards and SHIFT Companion are designed as general wellness and self-regulation tools using breath, movement, focus, and awareness practices.
They are not medical care, mental health treatment, physical therapy, diagnosis, or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
2. Product Scope
SHIFT refers to the physical card deck, printed inserts, packaging, website, SHIFT Companion Progressive Web App, and related educational materials made available by Shift Systems LLC.
Unless separately stated, SHIFT does not include workshops, facilitator certifications, therapy services, medical treatment, or licensed third-party teaching rights.
SHIFT is intended for adult general-wellness use and is not designed or marketed as a children’s toy.
3. No Medical Claims
SHIFT is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, medical condition, mental health condition, injury, or emergency.
Any benefits described on the website, in the Companion, or in SHIFT materials are for general wellness, education, and personal exploration only.
4. Use Your Judgment
Some practices may involve breathwork, movement, stillness, focus, or body awareness. Always listen to your body and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, panic, discomfort, or anything that feels unsafe.
If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, have a history of fainting, seizures, panic attacks, trauma, respiratory issues, heart conditions, or are recovering from injury, speak with a qualified professional before using these practices.
Do not use SHIFT while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where closing your eyes, changing your breathing, or performing movement could create a safety risk.
5. Emergency Situations
Do not use SHIFT during a medical or mental health emergency.
If you are in immediate danger, experiencing a crisis, or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or a crisis support service in your area immediately.
6. Results May Vary
Everyone responds differently to breath, movement, focus, and awareness practices. We do not guarantee any specific result, emotional state, physical outcome, or personal transformation.
7. Personal Responsibility
By using SHIFT, you agree that you are responsible for how you use the product and whether a practice is appropriate for you in the moment.
Use the cards and Companion gently, safely, and within your own limits.
8. Website and Companion Content
Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes. We work to keep it accurate and current, but do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, available, or error-free.
The Companion may be updated from time to time, and some features may require an internet connection.
9. Companion Access Codes
Companion access codes are included with eligible purchases or otherwise provided by SHIFT. Do not sell or publish an access code.
SHIFT may disable new activations from a code that is shared, compromised, refunded, or misused. When technically and legally appropriate, customers who validly redeemed that code before it was disabled may retain or restore access using the email address originally connected to that redemption.
Access may not be transferred or resold except where required by law.
10. Intellectual Property
All text, images, designs, card concepts, flows, software interfaces, logos, product names, and related materials on the website, in the Companion, and in SHIFT products are owned by Shift Systems LLC or used with permission unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from these materials without written permission, except as permitted by law.
11. Purchases, Shipping, and Returns
Product availability, pricing, shipping times, and return policies may change. Specific purchase, shipping, refund, and return information will be provided at checkout or on the relevant product page.
12. Service Availability
We may maintain, improve, change, suspend, or discontinue Companion features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of any particular feature.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shift Systems LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising from the use or misuse of the website, products, cards, Companion, practices, or related materials.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms, safety disclaimer, and privacy notice from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated date. If a material privacy change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required by law.
